Just got back from a little vacation cruise for 3 days to Ensenada Mexico with my sisters. There used to be six of us but two of my siblings have died and gone to heaven. Our ages range from 58yrs to 51yrs. Yea my mom was crazy and had six children in seven years.
As we board the ship it is so amazing to see all the different types of people standing around. Getting settled in our rooms was first priority, before deciding to scan the ship. Walking through the Grand Atrium with the glass elevators and the piano bar was such an impressive sight. Walking out to the patio pool was simply amazing with so many people standing around the bar or sitting and tanning themselves or even yet taking advantage of the pool. A live band was playing and some people were dancing. Beyond that was the Brasserie Restaurant which was buffet and so much food & desserts our mouth watered.
If you have never been on a cruise I would suggest you to try one. The one we were on was only for 3 days. We walked on the ship on a Friday, and between checking the ship out, eating dinner and watching a show it was time
for bed. Now don’t be mistaken that the ship closes down early. We went to bed early but the ship has drinking and dancing and gambling till the wee hours of the morning.
The next morning we went on an excursion to go horseback riding. There are plenty of things to pick from like kayaking or four wheeling or even going to spend the day at the beach just to name a few. One of my sisters the tour guide kind of flirted with so after our horseback riding tour, he gave us a private free tour of the city.
The next day was a day at Sea. The ship has many places to go. They sell jewelry and souvenirs plus necessities that you may need. It has many different clubs and lounges to visit with different entertainers. It has a gymnasium, a spa, beauty shop, jogging track, a library, an art gallery and of course a casino.
We watched a chef cut a block of ice into an Indian head, voted on the best hairy chest contest and learned how to dance to Thriller.
So needless to say, we had a lot of fun and Monday came too, soon as we go our breakfast before walking off the ship. I have posted a few pictures of the ship.
